Venturi Wet Scrubber

High-energy sub-micron capture.

Converging–throat–diverging geometry accelerates gas into a high-velocity zone where scrubbing liquid is sheared into micro-droplets. Ducon’s proprietary “wetted wall” weir inlet eliminates spray nozzles entirely — no plugging, direct slurry recycle. Includes the high-energy Oriclone VVO variant.

Ventri-Rod Deck Scrubber A5

VVO rod-array FGD & particulate.

Forces gas through a horizontal array of parallel, spaced rod-like elements rather than a traditional cone. Closely spaced rods reduce cross-section, accelerate gas, and create an intense scrubbing zone. Low-energy single or multistage configurations available — compact footprint for dual-duty FGD plus fine dust capture.

Dynamic UW-3 Wet Scrubber

Unitized, self-cleaning wet fan.

Patented compact dynamic scrubber with an integral, self-cleaning wet fan that simultaneously moves the air and drives the scrubbing action. Engineered for industrial environments where floor space is at a premium. Very low water consumption with rugged construction targeting near-zero maintenance.

Dynamic UW-4 Wet Scrubber

3-stage, non-plugging, heavy-load.

Patented three-stage dynamic scrubber built for heavy dust loads and abrasive materials. Two-stage pre-cleaner removes up to 90% of heavy dust before reaching the fan. Wet-side fan is constantly flushed — protected from dry abrasion and condensation. Medium pressure drop, very low water rate (2–3 gal per 1,000 saturated ACFM).

Spray Tower Wet Scrubber (Packed Tower / CAT)

Chemical absorption of toxic gases.

Counterflow column — gas upward, scrubbing liquid downward. No internal packing; mass transfer is generated entirely by Ducon’s proprietary non-plugging spray nozzles. For dry FGD, the DRX-25 two-fluid nozzle atomizes feed slurry in the spray reactor. Handles SO₂, HCl, H₂S, NOₓ, NH₃, and VOCs.

Marble Bed Wet Scrubber

Mobile-bed FGD + particulate.

Gas forces upward through a packed bed of lightweight glass spheres; alkaline scrubbing liquid (lime or limestone slurry) flows over them. The gas tumbles the marbles into a constant, mobile-bed agitation — preventing settling, flushing captured solids, and maintaining exceptional mass transfer for SO₂ absorption.
