UW-3 Dynamic — unitized wet fan + scrubber in one compact package.
The Ducon UW-3 is a proprietary unitized industrial wet scrubber that combines a self-cleaning wet fan and scrubbing chamber in a single compact package. The integral fan moves the gas and simultaneously assists the scrubbing action, achieving collection efficiencies above 99% while requiring very low water consumption and minimal floor space. Skid-mountable for plug-and-play installation.
How It Works
Dynamic UW-3 Wet Scrubber — operating principle.
Dust-laden gas enters the UW-3 chamber, where the wetted fan rotor accelerates the gas through a continuously irrigated impingement zone. Centrifugal forces on the wetted blades drive particles into the scrubbing liquid; cleaned gas discharges through a built-in mist eliminator.
The slurry drains to a recirculation sump or once-through drain. The patented unitized design — fan and scrubber in one assembly — virtually eliminates maintenance problems, requires very low water consumption, and is designed for tight industrial footprints with skid-mountable construction for plug-and-play installation.
